On September 8th, we learned from the official source of Voyah Motors that its 7-seat medium and large-sized MPV, the new Voyah Dreamer, will be launched on September 19th. The new car will introduce 4 models with a pre-sale price range of 349,900 to 489,900 yuan. The new car has been upgraded in terms of appearance, interior, and configuration. Of course, the highlight of this upgrade is the adoption of Huawei Kunpeng ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system, which is Huawei's latest intelligent driving system, superior to the current ADS 2.0 system. It upgrades the end-to-end large model and is equipped with a 192-line LiDAR, the same as the latest models of Huawei's series.
In terms of appearance, the new Voyah Dreamer adopts the Kunpeng Soaring Family Design Language, featuring a large-size front grille adorned with 34 symmetrical chrome trims, complemented by Kunpeng Soaring through-type headlights, creating a strong business atmosphere. At the rear, the car is equipped with sparkling diamond-shaped taillights, complemented by the central brand logo and a large-size spoiler, creating a good visual sense of hierarchy.
In terms of interior design, the new Voyah Dreamer can be described as a comprehensive upgrade compared to the current model. The previous through-type dual-screen is replaced by an independent LCD instrument, a suspended central control screen, and a co-pilot entertainment screen, complemented by through-type air vents, creating a strong sense of technology. Additionally, the car adopts a 2+2+3 seating layout and supports 4/6 folding and reclining of the third row, meeting different vehicle usage scenarios.
The new car will be equipped with the HarmonyOS system, featuring a minimalist design style that eliminates cumbersome elements, with clear and concise icons and a simple layout. At the same time, Huawei's AppGallery boasts a vast array of ecological applications, including all mainstream office apps, covering 99% of office scenarios. Furthermore, the super desktop of the HarmonyOS cockpit equipped in this car is the best embodiment of the integration and sharing of the vehicle and mobile phone ecosystems, enabling automatic connection between the mobile phone and the vehicle, and synchronizing the mobile phone's application ecosystem to the vehicle. Additionally, navigation can seamlessly flow between the car and outside without interruption, and music and videos can also be seamlessly transferred. Calendar and memo information can also be synchronized, allowing seamless collaboration between the mobile phone and the vehicle. It is worth mentioning that the rear seats of the car are equipped with foldable entertainment screens, greatly enhancing the ride experience for rear passengers.
In terms of intelligent driving, the new Voyah Dreamer will be equipped with Huawei Kunpeng ADS 3.0 and a total of 27 intelligent sensing hardware, including 192-line LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and high-performance cameras, enabling all-weather, real-time perception of the road environment and identification of various types of irregular obstacles. It boasts over 20 active safety functions. According to the official announcement, Huawei Kunpeng ADS 3.0 is an upgrade from the ADS 2.0's BEV+GOD network architecture to the GOD (General Obstacle Detection) network, achieving a leap-forward progress from "obstacle recognition" to deep "understanding of driving scenarios". This not only enhances the safety of intelligent driving but also improves the driving experience. Huawei Kunpeng ADS 3.0 can support over 160 parking scenarios, including extremely narrow spaces and unmarked parking spaces. In addition, intelligent parking features such as intelligent parking assist, remote parking, walk-away parking, valet parking assist, and autonomous valet parking will all be available on the new Voyah Dreamer. As for the vehicle's dimensions, it measures 5315/1980/1820mm (length/width/height) with a wheelbase of 3200mm, positioning it as a medium and large-sized MPV. In terms of power, the new car offers both plug-in hybrid and pure electric options. The plug-in hybrid version's engine has a maximum power of 150 horsepower, with a combined power of 571 horsepower. The pure electric version features a dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a maximum power of 435 horsepower. The vehicle adopts a front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension structure, equipped with an intelligent four-wheel drive system, air suspension with Magic Carpet Ride function, and CDC. Furthermore, thanks to Voyah's self-developed Lanhai Power System, the new Voyah Dreamer PHEV version is equipped with an engine that achieves a thermal efficiency of up to 45.18%.
